Dear Friends,

I am so pleased that we are finally getting closer to seeing some sanity return to truth, justice and freedom in Queensland. There has been so much pain for all of us. I have been privileged to experience the great love and support of a wonderful wife, my family and friends in the midst of this vile witch-hunt. I see that the fickle media and parliamentary scene still 'reeks of insincerity'.

It has taken attacks on the Governor-General, a High Court Judge and several false convictions in Queensland, to show that there is a witch-hunt afoot. The authorities have turned perjury into an acceptable tool, plea-bargaining into a way of publicly rorting the numbers and turning truth into a rare commodity.

The media and authorities have created a "witch-hunt" that has serious repercussions for justice. These allegations and charges had they risen or been tested at the time, would have had no credibility. Even in today's weird court system, where the media has hi-jacked justice and no one accepts the responsibility for justice, these allegations should have been intuitively dismissed. This is publicly highlighted by the Frank Button case.

From his release in June 2001 to the ABC 4 Corners program in March 2002, public inquiries cleared all those in authority of 'the appalling litany of mistakes'. Dr P. Wilson C/M26/3/02 The Appeal process is torturously slow and innocent people are kept in jail for years while it grinds on.

We are waiting a date for the hearing to seek special leave to Appeal to the High Court. Alan Bennett expects it to be in June. All the material has been listed. As well we are awaiting the outcome of the 592A hearing this week. The judge suppressed the publication of details of that hearing until he can study the material.
We are also waiting for the outcome of the civil action concerning Yalleroi that was heard last month. I Realize this is legal 'mumbo-jumbo', but don't worry, I will 'never quit. The injustice of this witch-hunt is a blot on the justice system of our State which must be removed.

I am sure many of my enemies believed I would be dead by this time. I won't state the obvious to any who know me well. My family and friends are wonderfully loyal and supportive and fully aware of the way the media and authorities have acted.

Sometimes I wonder if I am one of the few sane people left in an insane world, as these allegations would be impossible to sustain in a sane world, and yet the police, media, four Supreme Court judges, and a jury have upheld them. Don't worry too much as I am determined to stay alive to beat the 'Bastards', although they keep predicting my demise in this terrible system and making it as difficult as possible. I may not have "rat cunning" but no one has ever questioned my courage.
