	INNOCENCE DAY to be held in Brisbane on the 28th of March from 2PM until 5.30 PM. AN INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN AGAINST FALSE ALLEGATIONS OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE We have been contacted by AAFA from the UK. They are a peak body formed to represent all the various organizations who are campaigning for justice on false allegations over there. They are holding a Vigil which they are calling a ‘ National Spring Time Awakening Day’ on 27/3/07 from 11.30 AM ’till 2.30 PM. PURPOSE The purpose of the day is; To raise awareness of the consequences of false allegations of child sexual abuse - Lives destroyed - broken families - earning ability wrecked - wrongful imprisonment - and to promote their call for politicians in England, Ireland , Wales and Scotland to set up commissions of inquiry into the methods of disclosing , investigating and prosecuting allegations of child sexual abuse in criminal inquiries and psychotherapeutic settings. THEME The right of the falsely accused to be heard and the need for the wrongly convicted to be freed. We have been invited to be a part of this campaign as have the USA, NZ and other countries. We have accepted the invitation. Why? Because we are being largely ignored in this country, by politicians of all persuasions and by the mainstream media in general, ( some small exceptions). Inquiries which have been conducted in this country thus far have either been a whitewash or simply failed to address the real issues in any meaningful way. The public is generally unaware of the tragedy that is occurring. Many professionals and academic people who should be speaking out are not doing so. Bigots and the ill-informed are helping to fan the flames which has now undoubtedly become a witchunt of significant proportions. Ours is a just cause. We must speak out and we must do so now! OUR RESPONSE We are reaching out to everyone who has been damaged by this monster. We are asking you to join us in a vigil called INNOCENCE DAY to be held in Brisbane on the 28th. of March from 2PM until 5.30 PM. We have already held our first planning meeting. The upper line represents the celestial (heaven), and the bottom line represents the terrestrial (Earth). The connection between Heaven and Earth represents the creation of innocence and this is reflected by the center line. The innocence has no right or wrong, no good or bad. This results in truth.
